This is notice of a Temporary Road Closure beginning at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
The closure areas will be Nelson Street between Oliver Street and Elmore Street. The purpose of the closure is replace sewer services.
Citizens residing in these areas will have access to their property during the construction process.

The closure areas will be West James Street from Martin Street to Wooten Street. The purpose of the closure is replace sewer lines, sewer services and a manhole.
Citizens residing in these areas will have access to their property during the construction process.

Effective Immediately the Water Billing Department Hours Returns to Monday thru Friday 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

Just a reminder that utility bills were due by April 15th . Payment must by received by Monday, May 4th to avoid disconnection for non-payment on Tuesday, May 5th. Once the account goes into disconnect a $100 disconnect fee is applied to the account.
