Park Facilities
The Town of Mount Olive's park facilities (Westbrook & Nelson Street) are available to groups and citizens to reserve for family gatherings, group parties, picnics, meetings, or other events. We do not allow Political, Religious or Fund Raising Activities in the parks. Our Parks are smoke free.
Park reservations are on a first-come, first-serve basis and a fee is required. For additional information or to see if a specific date is available, contact Sherry Davis at 919-658-9539 ext. 106.
We also have Daughtry Field for our Youth Baseball and Soccer Camp. We own the gymnasium at the Carver Cultural Center where we have basketball programs.

Do I need a reservation to use a picnic shelter in the parks?
Yes, you will need a reservation to reserve a shelter at either Westbrook or Nelson Street Parks.

Westbrook Park has two Picnic Shelters and a Gazebo. The large Shelter has 7 picnic Tables and The Small Shelter has 4. There are grills available for use. There are restrooms on premises. Kids World Playground is located at this park.
Nelson Street Park

Nelson Street Park has three Picnic Shelters and a Restroom Facility. There is also a basketball court.
Daughtry Field
